Within the broadcast industry, we at Hitachi Kokusai Electric America, Ltd. are highly focused on the rapidly increasing digital and high-definition field. In addition to having introduced newly developed advanced digital high definition cameras we are continuing further development of these type products.
Within Hitachi’s Industrial Video Systems Division (IVS), we have consistently worked to provide camera technology built for the future needs of our customers in several markets, including machine vision/ factory automation, microscopy/ medical, audio visual and security. We work closely with industrial video imaging professionals to develop innovative solutions to their system designs.
Additionally, digital signal processing (DSP) is proven to be a great benefit to Hitachi. Our DSP based products and chip technology are wildly used throughout several industries and by many companies.
The Hitachi Group commits about $4 billion each year to research and development of new products. We continue to receive the largest number of world patents per year based on the work of our R&D Architects.
