FACILIS WANlink DIRECT REMOVE ACCESS OVER VPN

COMING SOON FASTCache: WORKFLOW ACCELERATION
We are very excited for Facilis’ upcoming release of FASTCache, a new caching feature that uses an unlimited, non-volatile cache on the client workstation to smooth out inconsistent link speeds and lower the load on server infrastructure.
Available to workstations connected to Facilis servers with the most benefit for lower-link speed connections like VPN and WANLink. Data that is read from the shared storage volumes through the normal connection will be written locally to an encrypted data set. This data set is only available to be used when connected to the server and mounting the matching storage volume. This ensures that administrative permissions will be upheld even for cached data.
